  • I’m not sure how many boxes I need, what do you suggest?

    It is hard to know how many boxes you’ll need but it is best to order and pay for more than you need, within reason!  If you don't use them all, please email us and we will refund you for any you don’t use. Remember you can also store your items in suitcases.

  • I have some items that won’t fit into a box or suitcase; can you store it for me?

    If it won’t fit into a box or suitcase then you can book it in as a bulky item eg golf clubs, bedside table, computer screen etc.  It is your responsibility to ensure that it is protected with suitable packaging to protect it.  

  • Is there a weight limit for boxes and suitcases?

    The general rule is that if you can’t lift the box or suitcase yourself then neither can we! We have the right to leave items behind if one person is unable to lift it on their own.  Books in particular can weigh a lot, so please either use an extra box or spread the weight with other, lighter items.

  • Do you provide packaging tape?

    Yes, we provide packaging tape when we drop off your empty boxes.

  • Do I need to label my storage?

    Yes, please make sure each item has your name clearly marked on it when we pick them up.  It is a good idea to write what is in each box to make unpacking a bit easier when we return the boxes to you! 

  • How big are the boxes you supply?

    Our boxes are 45cm x 31cm x 31cm. 

  • Can I use my own boxes?

    It is no problem to use your own boxes but they must be strong enough.  We are happy to take plastic storage boxes as long as they are not too heavy.  Please use packaging tape to make sure the lids on plastic boxes are properly attached.

  • Where are my items stored?

    We store your items at a secure location in Fife with 24/7, alarmed security.

  • What happens if I want to pick my storage up early?

    No problem.  Please email us and we will arrange a convenient date and time to return your items.

  • How do I pay?

    All payment must be made at the time of booking using Paypal.  You don’t need to have an account with them to do this, you can pay as a guest.

  • I would like to store outside of the summer holidays, is this possible?

    Yes, we can provide storage all year round.  Please send an email with your requirements and we will let you know how much it will cost.

  • How much notice do you need to take bookings?

    We are a local company so we are able to take last minute bookings.  Please note however that online bookings and collections cannot be made on the same day.  If you need same day collection, please call to arrange the collection and we can contact the driver to let him know.

  • Do you provide insurance cover?

    We provide insurance cover of up to a maximum of £100 per order.  Proof must be provided of any damage caused eg before and after photos.  If you require more insurance cover, this must be arranged separately by you.  Electrical items eg computer screens, must be stored in their original packaging.
